Tour Program
Day 01: Arrive Delhi by flight
Arrive New Delhi International Airport by flight. Meet our representative at exit gate & get transferred to pre- booked Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure (no transportation services). Overnight stay in Delhi. Highlights for Today: - 1/ Warm welcome on arrival at New Delhi International Airport.
Day 02: In Delhi
Morning half day combined city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat , where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated . Red Fort , Made by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan , Jama Masjid , The largest in India, It has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk , this main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar, known as Chandni Chowk. It has very sharp contrast to the open, spacious streets of Delhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple , dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune . India Gate , this 42ms high stone of triumph is a war memorial . It bears the names of 85,000 Indian army soldiers, who died in the campaigns of WW I .Rashtrapati Bhawan - This palace-like building is the official residence of the President of India and an interesting blend of Mughal and western architectural styles . Qutab Minar - The highest monument of India, Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Amritsar (By flight)
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Amritsar. On arrival check in at hotel. Amritsar - Located in the North West region of India, the most striking feature about Amritsar is its antiquity. In Hindi the word Amritsar means 'a Holy pool of nectar' and it was back in the year 1573 that work for digging the Holy pool had begun. One of the ancient cities of India, the most important fact about Amritsar is that it is the main seat of Sikh history and culture. The city itself was founded by the Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, and till present times it is the spiritual and temporal center of Sikh culture with the Golden Temple in Amritsar as its nucleus. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Amritsar - Delhi (By flight)
Morning city tour visiting Golden temple which is located in the heart of the city . The Jalianwallah Bagh which is a memorial of the martyrs of the 1919. The Durgiana Mandir that is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga , Baba Atal Rai Tower. In time transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Delhi – Agra (By surface/ 4 Hours drive)
Morning after breakfast proceed towards Agra. Upon arrival check in to hotel & relax for a while. Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. Rest of day is free for Shopping in local market of Agra. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 06: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (By Surface/6 Hours drive)
Morning visit one of most beautiful among the seven wonders of the world: Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world; this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. Later after breakfast drive towards Fatehpur Sikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty –Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Afternoon proceed towards Jaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 07: In Jaipur
Morning after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amer Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of elephant ride to reach the fort. Enjoy photography in front of Hawa mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Also enjoy photography in front of Jalmahal a water palace. Visit City Palace situated in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 08 : Jaipur to Delhi (By Surface/6 Hours drive) & Departure from Delhi
Today Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi and transfer to New Delhi International airport to board the flight for onward journey. !! Tour Concludes with happy memories of India !!
